From an approved sample to series production

Before launching series production of metal parts, we analyze the documentation and agree on the manufacturing process. Process selection takes into account the part design, material, required accuracy and planned batch size.

If necessary, a pre-series batch is manufactured first to check:

• design conformity with the technical documentation;
• product conformity with the drawings;
• the manufacturing process;
• the quality of individual operations;
• assembly;
• surface requirements;
• packaging;
• product repeatability.

After approval of the sample or pre-series batch, we move on to regular production.

Production repeatability

Series production of metal components requires not only manufacturing the first part according to the drawing but also ensuring consistent results throughout the entire batch.

During production, we carry out dimensional and geometric inspection of the parts and check product conformity with the established requirements:

• positions of holes and components;

For regular production orders, we document the main process parameters. We also agree on the production schedule and production batch size to plan operations and subsequent deliveries.

The technical and organizational basis for fulfilling an order includes:

An agreed material specification defining the type, grade and thickness of the metal used.

Manufacturing process
An agreed sequence of production operations.

Inspection
An inspection plan defining the parameters to be checked, acceptance criteria and scope of final inspection. Conformity inspections of successive batches serve to confirm compliance with the technical documentation.

Assembly
In series production of metal assemblies, the assembly sequence, method of joining parts and completeness requirements are established.

Packaging
